FCL Container Options
BRF SHIPPING can arrange standard dry containers, high-cube containers, open-top containers, flat racks, refrigerated containers and other special equipment subject to route and carrier availability.
Send us the cargo dimensions, gross weight, loading method and photos. We can assess container utilization and loading feasibility before booking.
| Container | Approx. Capacity | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| 20GP | 33 CBM | Dense or heavy cargo |
| 40GP | 67 CBM | General-volume cargo |
| 40HQ | 76 CBM | Light, bulky cargo |
| Reefer | Varies | Temperature-controlled goods |
| Open Top / Flat Rack | Project-specific | Oversized machinery and equipment |
Capacities are indicative. Actual loading depends on packaging, weight distribution, container specifications and local road limits.
Major Sea Freight Routes from China
We arrange export shipments from Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Xiamen, Dalian and other Chinese ports to major markets worldwide.
Multiple Carrier Choices
Route performance depends on more than the lowest rate. We compare sailing frequency, transit time, transshipment risk, equipment availability, free time and destination service before recommending a booking.
Carrier selection remains subject to the latest schedule, cargo type, destination and space availability.

Sea Freight FAQ
What is the difference between FCL and LCL shipping?
FCL reserves a full container for one shipper. LCL consolidates your cargo with other shipments and is normally charged by volume or chargeable weight. The best option depends on volume, cargo type, schedule and total local charges.
How early should I book sea freight?
Booking one to three weeks before cargo readiness is a practical starting point for general cargo. Peak seasons, special equipment, dangerous goods and project cargo may require more advance planning.
Can BRF SHIPPING pick up goods from multiple Chinese suppliers?
Yes. We can coordinate pickups, receive cargo at a China warehouse, check quantities, consolidate shipments and load an FCL or LCL shipment according to the agreed plan.
Can you handle customs clearance and door delivery?
Yes. Depending on the destination and cargo, BRF SHIPPING can coordinate export clearance in China, destination import clearance, duties and taxes under the agreed Incoterm, and delivery to a warehouse, business address or project site.
What documents are normally required?
Common documents include a commercial invoice, packing list, shipping instructions and bill of lading information. Certificates, licenses, MSDS, fumigation or destination-specific documents may also be required depending on the cargo.
Is sea freight transit time guaranteed?
No. Published ETD, ETA and transit time are estimates. Weather, congestion, carrier schedule changes, customs inspection and transshipment can affect the actual delivery timeline.
What information is needed for a quotation?
Please provide origin, destination, cargo description, HS code if known, package count, dimensions, gross weight, total CBM, cargo-ready date, Incoterm and final delivery address.
